Itinerary: Caribbean - Eastern
Last chance to sail on a genuine ocean liner. Sailing on this splendid and grand ship along with the scenic view of the beautiful Caribbean Islands was an added bonus to the many amenities offered on this fabulous cruise.
Public areas were comfortable and relaxing like the sports bar, and windjammer lounge. Plenty of activities and shows in the North Cape Lounge. Something for everyone!
Food and service was excellent! Alternative menus were offered to my children if the menu was too "fancy" for their taste. Cuisine, service, and presentation, just marvelous.
Cabin size and closet space good. Shower a bit tight, but OK. Stateroom cozy and comfortable and slightly noisy depending on what side of ship your room is located. We hardly spent any time in our cabin and our room steward kept our room very clean and catered to all our needs.
The entertainers, and cruise staff work very hard to provide quality entertainment and fun. I enjoyed the comedy and variety shows.
We shopped on board, played bingo, karoake, enjoyed the spa and sauna, and swam in the pools while listening to island and calypso music of the band on board. Great shopping on St. Maarteen and St. Thomas. Plenty of structured and fun activities provided for children of each age group.
We made new friends and exchanged emails with many other passengers, and we extended open invitations to our home whenever they may visit our neck of the woods.
