Overview
We took this cruise around our one year wedding anniversary and overall had a very nice time.

Public Areas
Although this ship is older it was still a very nice ship. Nothing real extravagant but nice none the less. The pool deck was nice, the no kids in the hot tub rule was not really enforced but what can you do.

Food and Service
We try to eat in the dining room as often as possible since the best food is there. But the outdoor lunch and breakfast buffets were still good but it can be hard to find a table to sit at. Our waiter and bus boy did a great job. We enjoyed the food on this ship. I am a very picky eater so there were things that i didn't like of coarse, but my husband enjoyed his meal very much. It did seem to take a long time to eat. A lot of waiting for your food. Dinner is a long process. The midnight buffets were typical of other cruises. My husband enjoyed the ice cream bar but it isn't open all of the time.

Cabins
Our room seemed to be small compared to our room on Carnival. We had an inside room so I wasn't expecting much. We don't care because we just go in the room to sleep and take naps/relax so we didn't need it for anything else. If you plan on spending more time in your room you will need one of the more expensive rooms. Our cabin steward kept are room super clean. He did a great job.

Entertainment
The shows were pretty good on this ship. We enjoyed seeing guys and dolls. The comedian was also good.

Activities
The ship gives you a newsletter for each day of the activities going on so you are kept well informed. We made stops in St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and their private island in the bahamas. St. Maarten was our first stop and we took a cab to Dawns beach b/c it was supposed to have good snorkeling. We didn't see anything but the beach was nice and not crowded at all. But you can save yourself some money and just go to the beach that is right where you get off the tender. All of the stores are right there too so this is more convenient.

Our 2nd stop was St. Thomas we went to a specific resort to renew our vows so I don't have too much information to give. It was carnival week and traffic was really bad. And cabs were expensive. I have heard from friends that Magen's Bay is beautiful though.

The private island was ok. If you don't get on one of the first tenders though all of the good spots on the beach and the chairs are taken. It is small and crowded. You can snorkle in the water though.

Who Goes
We enjoyed the people at our dinner table. They were very nice. We even waited for our planes together at the airport. We have met some of the nicest people on our cruises.
