Itinerary: Caribbean - Eastern
NCL has a policy that accepts 21 year old passengers. We went on March break. If you like a booze cruise with dorm style raves at all hours of the night in cabins while others are trying to sleep this is the cruise line for you. Security? What Security?
Deck areas were so crowded that forget about a deck chair just be happy some drunk doesn't fall over you as the herd migrates about the open decks.
I give full credit to the food staff. Food was good and wait staff worked hard to satisfy. Strongest point for SS Norway.
Cabin was worn but adequate. I don't go on cruises to be in a cabin.
Entertainment was very good. They tried hard and shows were well done. I found one comedian too abrasive with the audience. The acrobat dancers were absolutely top notch.
Pools and hot tubs were overrun with beer swilling college crew. I never got into the water. First time ever that has happened.
People were friendly but the ship was so crowded that we were often in lines. NCL procedures made lining up a ritual that seemed to occupy half of our vacation time.
