Itinerary: Caribbean - Eastern
This is a lovely "old-world" ship that has lots of charm and grace. Everyone treated us in a grand manner. It has the wonderful laid back charm of the grand sailing ships of the past.
There was not one are of the ship that was not to our liking. I especially like the International room and each time (3) we sailed on the Norway we ate in the Windward dining room. Coming down the steps made me feel extremely elegant.
The deck buffet was up to standards. The food in the dining room was excellent.
We have had cabins that were inside with upper/lower bunks and they were fine for us. We have also had outside cabin for 4 and the bathroom was amazing.
The staff went out of their way to make everyone feel special. Enjoyed the shows very much.
St. Thomas, St. John, both very exciting. The snorkeling was fun on St. Thomas. They tell you what shops offer the best buys and shop owners (if they know you are from the Norway) are very pleasant.
Meet a lot of very nice people. We have stayed in touch with an older couple for about 7-8 years. Also met a couple that we visited when we were in the Maryland area.
