Itinerary: Caribbean - Eastern
This boat was trying out a new thing called Freestyle cruising. There is no set time to eat and there are 6 restaurants to choose from. The bad thing about this is that you never have the same waiter. People are coming at all different times instead at set times so the servers are rushed and are not able to give you personal attention.
On this particular cruise the electricity went out and the boat sat still for about 25 minutes , I was scared and all the captain did was apologize. The people are not as friendly as the other cruise lines. The spa was very small, just a hall way. The itinerary was the best part but the boat itself sucked.
The food was good, there was a 24 hour buffet which i had never seen. There is a sushi bar which was the food highlight of our week.
I loved are cabin, it was and inside cabin and we had plenty of room to "explode". The shower was the typical one person can not bend over shower but it was comfortable.
Entertainers were awesome but the plays sucked. Jane Powell and her band were the highlight.
The itinerary was the best 4 ports in a row ! wow ! the nightlife on the boat was terrible, definitely not a party boat. The spa, which is a place i like to spend time in, was soooo disappointing. It was basically a hallway. that was it. No ambience or personality, no uni-sex steam room where my husband and I could go.
The fellow passengers were very nice, mostly older people and families, not for singles.
