Itinerary: Caribbean - Western
The New Free style cruising on this ship left a lot to be desired.
Clean and well cared for, but starting to show their age. Not enough pool side or promenade seating
The meals,I feel were cooked with the idea that they would all be served at the same time. and that resulted in cold meals that came so close to being good that it was a real shame The new policy of having the tips collected as part of a daily charge gave the wait staff little or no incentive to provide good or personalized service. We were very disappointed with level of service throughout the ship.
WARNING THIS CRUISE LINE USES BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS TO FILL IT'S ROOMS. LOWER LEVEL ROOMS ARE CALLED UPGRADES AND YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN THE ROOMS ADVERTISED ON DECK #8 EVEN IF CONFIRMED ON THAT LEVEL. I HAVE A COMPLAINT ON FILE WITH THE MASS ATTY. GENERAL RE THIS PRACTICE. DEMAND TRAVEL DOCUMENT BEFORE POSSIBLE CANCELLATION DATE!!!
Entertainment was lively and well produced.
We booked this cruise be cause it went to places that other cruise lines by passed.... now I know Why. Good cruise itinerary for divers but that is about it.
Most of the passengers seemed to be from south Fla. and retired last minute cruise deal hunter that did not care where the ship went.
