Date of Trip: June 26, 2005
Itinerary: Europe

We have cruised with P&O for many years now, traditionally on Aurora and Oriana, but dating back to the early days of Canberra. We chose Oceana as we had heard many different stories and were extremely surprised with the trip, so much so that we have already re-booked.

Wonderful. particularly spacious, colourful with a lovely atmosphere especially around the Atrium. They were always so clean, something we have come to expect with P&O

Food, as always is superb. We dined in the Adriatic Restaurant and on some nights chose alternative dinning in the Plaza Bistro. Food was exceptional and service was impeccable. Again, something we have always expected.

Our cabin on Deck 12 with balcony was idyllic. It was quiet serviced particularly well by the most professional steward we have seen. Towels appeared new room service was a delight.

We have always enjoyed the shows with P&O and it was super to see the Stadium Theatre Company on Oceana. Their performances were wonderful. Our Cruise Director Joff was extremely professional and he hosted most of the shows onboard with humour and style, a very clever man. We also enjoyed Dave Devereux's comedy and the band Natural High who we had seen on Oriana in the past.
The ports of call were great, although we had been to them all before, but still lovely to see them again. Tours appeared well priced and well organised which I have commented on negatively on previous cruises.
Predominantly British passengers of all ages. There were quite a few children on the ship, but they seemed to be kept busy and we didn't see a great deal of them.
All in all a wonderful cruise on a wonderful ship.
