Itinerary: Australia

What ever you want in a holiday - this ship has it. fun, relaxation, games, sun bathing, kids stuff, good food, company, privacy, excellent service, I could go on. only way to find out what its really like... go cruising. I have just booked my 15th cruise, I am hooked !!

Public areas were always clean, well staffed and comfortable. The pool area was well serviced, and poolside bars and facilities well looked after. The casino is smallish, but well equipped for a ship this size.

How can I aptly describe the food? plenty of it !! The menu in the 2 restaurants is adequate, with plenty of choice for all tastes, especially those willing to try things such as escargot (snails) on french night. I preferred to eat in the restaurant rather than on deck, as I found the food cooled quickly in the open air. No one should go hungry !! Pizzas available 24/7 cheap and filling for the late nighters, and the ice cream bar was delectable!!

We had a 4 berth cabin, not large but not cramped either. i found the bathroom rather claustrophobic, the lavatory being behind the door, and the shower in reaching distance from the pan, however, for the short time spent here, it was bearable.

The shows were very entertaining, albeit "cheesy". staff worked very hard, and the passenger involvement shows were great fun.
I must admit, I preferred to relax on board, however my companions partook of many activities, such as bingo, trivia, games etc. They all had a wonderful time. I found the internet facilities well worth it, as being able to contact home was important to me.
We sat at a table for 8, our dinner mates were of varied ages and the like. we got on famously, and still keep in contact by mail.
