Itinerary: Caribbean - Western
A top rate Mediterranean itinerary with excellent guides aboard
the best value for money travel afloat.
There are a good variety of public areas to suite your mood.
Some crowded with life, others silent and empty and others with a civilised pianist playing in the background.
The ship provides both buffet and formal restaurant services. The buffet on deck makes a fine lunch or midnight feast while the food and service in the main restaurant really is top rate. Because of the large number of people being served, one can feel the pressure on the waiters but they handle it very well and will often share a joke or longer conversation in quieter moments. Good fun is had by all!
Interior cabin, double, downstairs. Air conditioning was rather more
noisy than one would have wished but it was effective and one eventually
likened it to being in a womb.
The shows were excellent and the entertainers varied. They catered for all tastes and were much appreciated by all. The Thomson cruise staff are extremely helpful and patient and are always willing to go out of
their way to help with individual enquiries. Where do I go in Mallorca to buy . . . .? How can I get from Naples to see the temples at Paestum?
Shore excursions were great.
There was a good mix of European and British passengers on board. The average age was probably 50 plus.
