Itinerary: Bahamas
The cruise is low priced and the ship is not new, but we found it to be very pleasant and would recommend it to those who like us are not likely to be cruising because of a limited budget.
We liked all of the public areas. We particularly enjoyed the fan tail deck area behind the Cafe Miramar, where we had breakfast buffet each morning and we just enjoyed sitting out there in the evening with other guests. We liked the dark stained and very glossy finished wood deck. We liked the pool area and the lounges.
We liked the food very much and found the staff to very helpful and friendly.
The cabin was very small and we were disappoined that they did not finish the walls out properly. The bathroom was very small as well, and the ceiling too low for me at 6 foot three. But we did not take the cruise to spend a lot of time in the cabin, and we enjoyed the public areas and the staff.
The staff was friendly and capable. We enjoyed the one show that we saw and we enjoyed the music group that played in the Cafe Miramar.
There was plenty of things for guests to do, we did not begin to take them all in, we just enjoyed spending time on deck at sea, and the port that we stopped at was Nassau and we liked it very much. We took in the excursion on the glass bottomed boat at Nassau and visited the private island there enjoying the beach and just relaxing in one of the hammocks.
We were very pleased at the easy going friendliness of passengers that we met.
