Itinerary: Caribbean - Eastern

Overview
A classic ship for passengers who like something old but comfortable. The food was excellent and the service was great. Premier gave us larger and cooler cabins on LP deck after we complained of the a/c not working in our cabins on B deck. A great value for a seven day cruise.

Public Areas
The Smoking Room was a great lounge. The Ritz-Carlton is a beautiful room but underultilized as a disco, move the disco up to Sky Room. The Theater is good. All of the public rooms are interesting and never crowded. The promenade is completely a walk-around. The casino has a fire place but not warm enough to pay on the slots!!!

Food and Service
All of the meals in the dining room were excellent. Quality and presentation is just as good as the Big 3 cruise lines.

Cabins
My family had cabin #'s 728 & 726 on B deck. The cabins were small but were workable and comfortable. The big problem was the lack of A/C. After two days of heat, Premier was gracious to move us to Cabin #'s 265 & 267. What big cabins, plenty of closet space and drawers. A bath room with two sinks, tub and heated towel racks. Great service and delivering their new 7 star service.

Entertainment
The shows in the Queen's Lounge and Theater were first rate. The "Legends of Hollywood" shows were great.

Activities
Just being on this classic ship and enjoying the quality of the shipboard experience was the best activity. The ports were OK(What can change in Nassau, San Juan and St. Thomas?) The indoor pool was a nice feature but the water needs to be heated.

Who Goes
The ship was full of post millenium value passengers. Our two teenagers made up part of the 20 children under 18. We met several people that were very interesting as you should always meet on a cruise.
