Itinerary: Alaska
The trip was a lot of fun. I'm only a 12 yr old kid but I know what I'm talking about. there was lots of stuff to do on and off the boat. There was many different things for kids like me and adults like you. There are a lot of bars with a lot of different kinds of drinks non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
There is not one place that I could say I liked the most. there is also no place where I could say I didn't like. I really don't know how the casino was, but the pools were great with a pool for little kids, an outdoor pool, and an indoor pool with a retractable roof, you could go swimming no matter how hot or cold it was.
The food was fantastic! there was a friendly waiter to take your order, and a very good staff. One of the best places I liked to get food was the buffet. Every day they had variety of different foods. also, every day there was a new statue made out of food. They made them out of lots of different things, including watermelon, bread, and some times fruit that looked like two birds in a tree.
The cabins were not that roomy but were very comfortable. to accommodate the passengers with family, they had fold out bunk beds. every rom had a mini fridge, a t.v., bath room and a shower. A lot of the rooms had a balcony. Which let me tell you was a great place to read, relax or just watch the scenes.
I attended a couple of the shows. what I liked was that the had shows for adults and shows for kids. With a talent show and a movie theatre there was a lot to offer. There was also a lot of comedy shows. me being a 12 yr old kid some of the jokes got by me but I got a lot of them. And let me tell you the ones I did get, were very funny.
I did a lot of things on and off the boat. there was a game room that had a lot of different games. When I was off shore I did 3 of the many excursions available. I went kyaking, on a trip through the yukon scenic railway and a genuine Alaskan salmon bake and boy was the salmon good! There was child care and babysitting available. There was also a lot of stuff to keep kids like me occupied.
There were a lot of passengers. The came from all over the world. some people from texas, massachusetts and some people that came al the way from australia. Just about all the people I met I would ask to join me and my family for dinner.
