Our cruise in April 2004 to the Panama canal was wonderful from start to finish. I would strongly recommend this cruise for all ages.
This ship was very easy to find your away around. the atrium was our most enjoyable area as it was the centre of all activities, lots of music, lounges, shopping, information desk etc. It was also very beautiful and great for taking pictures. the teak walk around promenade deck was great for our early morning walks as well as relaxing on the lounge chairs to catch on the happenings of the day and plan our evening.
The food was excellent from morning to night. We chose the fixed dining and were so lucky to have met 4 other couples from all over and never missed a dinned in the 10 nights on board. We so looked forward to meeting for dinner and exchanging stories about our day as well as getting to know about their families etc. We hear from these people frequently now that we are back home and even hope to cruise with them again.
We had a mini suite with balcony, cat aa and we loved this room on the port side. The balcony was wonderful. The room had lots of storage space, great bathroom.
We attended the shows in the princess lounge every night and the entertainment was A+.
The cruise staff and entertainers were the best.
Made wonderful friends and already planning on visiting one couple this fall and the others next year. Everyone on board was friendly and pleasant.
