Itinerary: Caribbean - Southern

Overview
The cruise was very laid back and quite. Other Princess cruises we have been on were much more up beat. We never saw the cruise director on deck or about the ship. There was no excitement anywhere. Very hard time trying to get a drink on deck. Servers would walk by and not ask if we wanted any thing, when someone did stop it would talk 20 min. to a half hour to get your drink. You would see the server walking around the other side of the ship without your drink. They would put in your order and then go get more orders before you get yours There were not enough workers on the ship, it was as if they cut back their staff..Princess has made to many cut backs and it SHOWS EVERYWHERE on the ship. After 8 cruises with Princess I don't think I will cruise with them again. They are slipping real hard and fast. What a disappointment !!!

Public Areas
People would get up early and save deck lounges, they would put towels and books on them and then go off the ship and spend the day on the island. Casino is a nice room, but, forget about getting anything out of the slot machines, they are the worst I have ever played on. They never pay off. Jammer's lounge was nice until all the the young kids came in every night. Kids from age 12 to 17 years old. No one from the cruise line or the drink servers asked them to leave so all the adults left and complained at the pursers desk but nothing was done.

Food and Service
Food was excellent. The dinning room was noisey. They used to be a threesome that would walk around and play music, another cut back on Princess. Kids were stealing bottles of wine from the waiters service areas. These kids were all sitting together and were loud and uncontrolled. They should have been sitting with their parents, Princess cruises should not have let them sit alone !!!!!

Cabins
Cabins are small and not enough closet space. A large person can not fit in the shower or bathroom and have room to turn around.

Entertainment
Show was very good.

Activities
Typical Caribbean ports. Shopping and nice beaches.

Who Goes
Mostly Americans ranging from 20 to 60.
