Itinerary: Caribbean - Southern

Overview
Very relaxing. This was my first cruise and I found it very enjoyable and would not hesitate to go on another one.

Public Areas
The public areas were nicely decorated and spacious.

Food and Service
Food was excellent with so many choices to choose from. The service was good, but the first week the waiter would alway's try to sell us something whilst we were dining, which was a bit off putting.

Cabins
Cabin was excellent. I found the closet space acceptable, the bed very comfy. It was quite peaceful where my stateroom was in relation to may be other's near lifts etc. Channel 21 which gave info. to passengers was sometimes inaudible.

Entertainment
Entertainment was excellent. The shows that were put on by the cruise staff were as good if not better than going up London to see a west end show. Steward did not like the tip he received from us and showed his rudeness by totally ignoring us on the day of departure.

Activities
Itinerary was very good, although it would have been nice to spend an evening at a port to see what the night life was like. Ports were: St Thomas, Barbados, St Kitts, Martinique, Tortola, Trinidad, Curacao. At Trinidad we were descended upon with taxi drivers that wouldn't take no for an answer, when we said we didn't want a cab. Tim Donovan would have been more suited to a Butlins camp as he did treat the passengers as if they wanted to play pool games in the blazing sun and at one point said this was for the over 21's.

Who Goes
WE didn't really meet any fellow passengers. They consisted mainly of Americans, which was o.k. but everyone thought we were American too, which I did not like as they thought we had lot's of money. They were old and young and thankfully not too many kids on board to spoil it.
