Itinerary: Mediterranean
The ship was fantastic, and the sites marvelous. The ship was big
but very roomy and comfortable. We never found long lines or any waiting. My 10 year old daughter and 13 year old son also loved it. The ship itself is a work of art and the service was out of this world.
The walk around promenade is 2.5 laps to the mile and was our favorite way of getting from one end of the ship to the other. The health club was very big, had state of the art equipment, and a 15 deck view that
made the work out fun. The 18 deck raised night club was amazing and a lot of fun.
The dining rooms were beautiful and the food was excellent. I was glad to see they have eliminated the wasteful midnight buffet. We had a great mid-day meal in the Painted Desert Lounge. We really enjoyed our
waiters. The acoustics in our dining room were not good and we had to speak quite loudly at our table to carry on a conversation.
Our 10th deck inside staterooms were plenty roomy and the bathroom fine for one person at a time. We did get some noise from the main theater
two decks below, but the shows did not run late. We heard no hallway noise, but were awakened the first three nights by work crews hammering. When we finally reported it to the purser it ended and the rest of the cruise it was quiet.
The entertainment was great.
Ports were very interesting, lots of history.
She attracts a broad range of passengers, although most were older than us.
