Itinerary: Caribbean
Something for everyone on this ship. If you like intimate, easy
to get around ships you may not care for this one. Very, very large with
endless walking from one end to the other. But beautiful in all areas. It's
like a small town.
All the public areas are very comfortable, and welcoming but
like many ships today Baby it's cold inside. Take a sweater along or a wrap
in the evening. Great promenade but not always used as much as expected.
Pools pools pools some for every taste. Like no other ship so far.
Food and service is fine. Some dishes are great. The three
main dining rooms each have their own charm. Buffet is very good. Lots of
choices in every catagory and no long lines. They have set up pods so you
can choose what you want without waiting for people ahead. Just go to the
type of food you want and in a couple minutes you got it. Dining area is
very pleasant with lots of sea views.
We had a mini-suite with balcony. So lots of room but we did see an
inside cabin and it looked very comfortable and better than some insiders on
other ships. Our bathroom was all you could ask for ...tub shower, thick
towels, just fine. We had a sitting room, two TV's quiet room and butler.
Didn't really need him but he came with the territory!!!
Entertainment in many areas all evening long. Enough to wear
you out if you try to do it all. Again something for everyone. Entertainment
was varied and of good quality. Cruise Director could show a little more
spark but all in all personnel was friendly and helpful.
Activities morning to night if you care to partake. To much to even try to put in this space.
On this cruise there was a very good mix of passengers. Teens,
twenties, middle age and oldies but goodies. All seemed very friendly. The
ship was sold out but never at anytime did it seem crowded, no long lines.
Plenty of little quiet corners to sit in. Everything was first class..but
I'm not sure I would go on a ship that large unless it were at least a two
week cruise or more.
