This is boat is definitely something. Just looking off her deck
14 is amazing, seeing little ships flow by. Even though her exterior might
be a little different, exterior looks can be deceiving. The interior is
very spacious and the crew is very friendly. The atrium and its sports
areas rank among one of my favorites all time.
The pools were spacious, and they even had a swim in bar. The walk-around promenade deck was one thing that I enjoyed. Every time you ran
around the deck a couple of times, they would hand you starbucks, which at
the end of the cruise, you could redeem for merchandise. My most favorite
of all was the meals though. There were big windows at the main dining
room, and the breakfast buffet area offered a wonderful view of any passing
islands.
Food was the best I've ever had. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of foods that one could ever want for breakfast. There was even a midnight feast, but I missed it since I had already gone to bed. The dining room was full of friendly and entertaining wraitresses and the food was excellent. It was just like dining at a 5 star restaurant.
Cabins are another wonderful area of this ship. When you first come
in, you look in your fridge (yes, every room has one) and you get a bottle
of sparkling juice. Then whenever your room is cleaned, mints are left on
top of your pillow. The showers were roomy, but when the ship was moving,
there was an occasional drainage problem. The water would stay to one side
of the shower and the drainage hole was at the other end. A full size
person could easily fit in to it. It wasn't that noisy at all, and I got a
full nights sleep even though I didn't want to since the entertainments were
so great.
There were several movies as well as broadway like shows on
board. I enjoyed the selection of movies, even though I only saw a couple
because I was too busy enjoying the off shores.
The Itinerary was great. We stopped at Barbados the first day.
We went around and toured the place, bought souvenirs, and enjoyed the day.
The day flew by even though we didn't want it to. The second day, we stopped
at the French island martinique. It wasn't as great as the first day, but
still a great island. On the third day on shore, we stopped at Princess's
own islands and basically had a beach fest. I went out and refreshed my
sailing skills. Snorkeling was also a great attraction.
Anyone goes who wants to have a good time. It was easy to make
friends since everybody were so kind and friendly.
