Interesting and varied, but NOT hectic...The Carribean PLUS the
Canal and Costa Rica made it just right for us.. The SunPrincess was
relaxed- not too formal- no college beer bash crowd either. Choice of
sit-down meals or a GREAT 24 hr. buffet was wonderful
Lounging around the main pool was perfect. The Promonade Deck
was very nice for after-dinner stroll by moonlight.
This was/is NOT-I repeat NOT a disco scene cruise. Casino was just that
slots Blackjack like anywhere's ala Reno/Vegas.
We ate sit-down style in Main Dining Room quite a lot just to dress up and meet our table-mates. The buffet with ALL FIXIN'S was very handy. But having Maitre'd and REAL Italian waiters was nifty. Hey, why not!!!!???? It's your money.....
We had a forward/up top INSIDE cabin that was just A-OK for us....But for a real splurge an Outside w/ Veranda would be too cool. But we saved $600/pp... so YOU do the math.....
We did NOT do much of the Stage Show thing...We heard it was so-so....Retired people liked that stuff
Laying around the pool in Perfect weather while asea and doing
Big- Time group snooping at each island was our main activities....but I
never hestitated to hit the baack alleys and streets for a local drink etc.
at our island stops....
Our fellow passengers were some 30's and 40's. Mostly 50's and 60's and 70's. White upper-middle class Americans w/ time and money to "do a
cruise"......Nice people over-all
