Itinerary: Caribbean - Eastern
The crew of the ship was very polite, but if I were you I would look into going on one of Princess bigger ships or another cruise line. A lot of sickness due to a virus. Ship charged I think 139 u.s. dollars per person to go to the Rain Forest tram, if you go on your own it will cost you about 75.00 u.s. per person
Casino was very small and we didn't see to many people winning on the slots. To us the ship was very very boring
Food was terrible, same 5 desserts served every day, buffet style food was cold and dried out Steak house which cost $15.00 per person wasn't worth opening your mouth to eat the steak. Formal dinning room took 3 hours to eat, service was slow and boring. The selection of buffet style food was nothing but poor.
I am 6-0 230 pounds and I just had enough room to take a shower. Cabin was so small my wife and I couldn't stand beside each other. We had to crawl from end of bed to get into the bed. No room for suit cases. Door was so small we ordered room services one time and we had to turn the tray sideways to get it into the room.
People got up and left many many times after 10 minutes into the show. In a nut shell I would rate the Sun Princess 1/2 a star just because the crew was nice. A couple we met were on there honeymoon and there shower wouldn't work nor their toilet for 2 days so we let them use ours.
Princess Cruise lines takes you to a port where you have to pay 60-80 u.s. dollars for a cab to the town (Isle Margarita), we stopped at Caracas, Isle Margarita, Dominica, St Thomas, Princess Cays, Barbados. The ship broke down in Caracas, lost all the air conditioning for 8 hours.
A few of the couples we would invite to our home and one couple is going to visit us, but to tell you the truth most of the people on the cruise were in there upper 60's thru 80's and we had nothing in common with them
