Overview
We had a wonderful experience on a ship that was comfortable, accommodating and had top notch service. The ship is a bit older and has retrofitted so most amenities are there, but not quite perfect. The intimacy and individual service afforded by this small ship is worth the sacrifice of some bells and whistles.

Public Areas
Public areas were adequate -- minimum casino and shop, nice dining room with one (open) seating, okay night club, nice pool area, minimal gym. Everything well kept up, clean, not worn.

Food and Service
Food was excellent, included wine at lunch and dinner outstanding (nice selections, interesting even), varied menu. The service is the best we ever experienced. We tell the story that one time my husband's wine glass was empty. The staff apologized profusely, we coped.

Cabins
Compact (for a luxury ship) but adequate. Had enough closet space, locking storage drawer, okay bathroom. Not fabulous, but very nice. Note: laundry, valet service was excellent and surprisingly affordable.

Entertainment
For a small ship, made a good attempt to entertain us. Entertainers were good, friendly, participated in daily activities. Enough to keep us occupied on the few times we weren't in port, eating, or resting. (Greek Island cruise, lots of interesting and exhausting ports).

Activities
Small ship allowed us to visit some more interesting ports (ie Corinth Canal). Ports of call were excellent. All land excursions were absolutely top notch -- the best I have ever been on and in every way worthy of a five star ship. Kept number of people per group very low, food or entertainment on shore wonderful, good guides. Made the trip one of our best ever.

Who Goes
We met interesting people. We are from LA and are used to finding other Californian's (or New Yorkers) on trips. No here. From all over, mostly American but some very nice exceptions. Were afraid everyone would be 65+, but quite a few 40's and 50's and a smattering of younger ones too.
