Itinerary: Mediterranean
This 3 day taster cruise enables one to sample the Royal Caribbean product and one of its superb ships from the radiance class. This product is just long enough for people wanting to dip their toe in the water with this company perhaps prior to booking a longer cruise.
This ship is like an upscale American hotel with a large atrium, huge well fitted public rooms and extensive sun decks/ sports areas. The Schooner bar had a lovely nautical theme and the restaurant stretching over 2 levels is reminiscent of liners of yesteryear. A well designed theatre, several pools a health spa and lots of cosy little rooms off the atrium make this an easy ship to find your corner.

Balcony cabin on deck 8. Spacious standard cruise ship design. Plenty of storage and everything you need. Would be suitable for longer cruises (up to around 2 weeks).
Some decent production shows and headline acts catering to the Spanish passengers on board. Lots of different places for music and a separate kids programme in their own zone.
Ajaccio - Napoleon's place was a typical french seaside town with good food, cobbled streets and looks at its best on a sun kissed day like we had. Tendering brings you right into the centre.
Palma again a lovely spot but take shuttle into town as berth is a very long walk away.
A full mix of ages and nationalities. This meant that a slight clash of cultures with some groups turning up at their dinner tables 75 mins into dinner and expecting to be served when others were on time. Dress codes more or less ignored etc. Lots of kids but only a couple of teenage girls were a particular pain.
