Itinerary: Caribbean - Western
Overall, we had a great time. The weather wasn't great - but, you can expect that for September. We were treated very well by the staff and highly recommend Royal Caribbean.
The public areas were great. Because of the weather - the pool was not overly used. My wife really enjoyed the spa.
As always, we enjoyed having dinner in the My Fair Lady Dining Room. Our waiter, Eric, was wonderful. We had meet the Dining Room Manager on another cruise. We spoke to him & he invited us to have dinner with the Captain the next evening.
We stayed on Deck 3 - outside room with a window. It is small but with plenty of storage. Every evening, our cabin attendant did something design with either my wife's robe or the towels.
We attended every show & enjoyed every one of them. There was comedy, magic, music - something for everyone. We also went most evenings to the Carrousel Lounge to listen to the band and dance. We even own the twist contest!
I also think that the Cruise Director & his staff were wonderful - very friendly & interested in you.
We went to Key West - we should have taken a 'city tour' of some kind. It was really hot & muggy. We visited the Mayan Ruins & enjoyed this tour. Costa Mayan still needs lots of work to become an attraction. We considered this a 'day at sea'.
Being September, there were not a lot of children or teenagers. We are in our mid-40s & met both younger & older couples on board.
