I would highly recommend cruising on RCCL to anyone. We received
excellent service, the food and shows were wonderful. It was our first (for
our honeymoon) and will definitely not be our last.
We loved the large pool area. What a surprise to find that
the pool was filled with fresh sea water pulled in by the ship every day. We
always managed to locate a lounge chair and there were always plenty of
towels.
We could have literally eaten 24 hours a day. Dinner was
the best. We could have ordered anything off the menu, just to try
something. The food was first rate.
My room was almost the best part of our trip. It was so spacious.
We slept very well. There was much more room than I expected for a cabin,
with plenty of storage areas. The love seat and table made it convenient to
order room service.
The quality of the shows was excellent. On the last day, the
act was the Fifth Dimension. We loved it.
We went on a Western Caribbean cruise. We loved all the
islands, with the exception of Ocho Rios. I would warn anyone to make sure
they stick with one of the group outings; don't go it alone. The natives
can be somewhat intimidating.
We were rather shy the first night at dinner with our 6 other
passengers. By the last night, we were trading jokes and ribbing each other
like old friends! We received Christmas cards from several of our dinner
mates.
