Itinerary: Wetdock
I spent overnight in New York on the Explorer of the Seas last weekend. I am engaged with planning group cruises. Have been on many Cruise Ships during the last fifteen years. No one compares with this Ship. Nor the amenities. I am anxiously waiting to sail for 7 days on this Ship as soon as I can.
Public areas were all first class. I particularly liked the areas in the buffet dining room, where you could sit outside on the deck. The furniture is beautiful and most comfortable. I liked the pool surroundings, especially the lounge chairs, that were elevated, so that if you trav- eled with a group you could all be together. Casinos 100+%
Buffet on deck was excellent. Service very good, as was the food. Dining room we ate in was 4th Deck. The dining room on the 5th Deck looked prettier.
Cabins with balcony were amply large. Could do with another few drawers for 7 day Cruise. Shower fine. Was very quiet. We visited the Royal Suite. The most beautiful Suite I have seen. Just wish I could be lucky enough to stay in one, some day. Loved the balcony, the bathroom, hot tub and just everything...
Yes the shows were very good and most entertaining. I enjoyed the Ice Show. I just loved all the other entertaining places, as, golf course, basketball ct., climbing wall, the Beautiful DINER.
Didn't stay on Ship more than overnight. Looking forward to taking a 7 day cruise though.
Yes. most pleasant.
