Freedom of the Seas is not just the largest cruise ship in the world, she's also the one that has the most attractions, if you are boring this is not the cruise for you. Glass is everywhere so you'll always be in contact with the sea.
Freedom of the Seas is full of public areas, the most impressive is the Royal Promenade with many bars, stores and even parades and parties. The Arcadia theater is spectacular, the curtain will take your breath away, it is a show by itself, and the real shows like "Once Upon a Time" is the best show at sea, many people will agree. Studio B was also spectacular with it's show, "Freedom Ice. com" and then you can go ice skate. The walk around promenade is amazing, at the dining rooms, it stands out and you can see the whole ship if you look up, just watch out you don't fall on the water. Pharaohs lounge amazing too; the On Air Club for karaoke is really cool, you can sing inside a small room without the shame of doing it on stage, which by the way, you can do that too. If you want to dance some Salsa, Meringue or Danson while listening to a real band playing head to Boleros, and take a Mojito, it will bring out the Cuban dancer in you. Every public area was designed with good taste and style in mind.
Food on the Windjammer was great, it also includes the asian buffet Jade and the specialty restaurants Chops Grille and Portofinos. The dinning room food was also great and the waiters were very nice, food is one thing you'll enjoy in this ship too.
The stateroom was really comfortable and spacious for being an interior one, and it was very cozy. The beds were like heaven, you feel like staying there the whole day but you can't with all the thing there are to do. The stateroom has a 23" plasma TV, all staterooms do. and a very nice shower.
The shows were incredible, you should not miss "Once Upon a Time" which was hilarious and very well done and also "Freedom-Ice.com", which was very good too with funny parts.
You probably have been to this Western Caribbean itinerary before, but not on this ship. For me the ship was the real destination with so many thing to do, you will not have time to go ashore. Pools are everywhere, including the H2O Zone which adults will enjoy too and the solarium cantilevered whirlpools. But the best place where you come to contact with water is the Flow-Rider, if you go, this will be the main attraction.
Most of the passengers are families with kids from all over the world. You'll meet people from Australia to Japan.
