The experience made us realize what it must be like to be treated like royalty. This was my new husband's (we were married on the ship) first cruise and i am sure it won't be hard to get him to go again!!! We are already planning our next one!
No matter what you were looking for, public or private, you could find it easily. We really loved the solarium. It was absolutely beautiful and hardly every had more than 10 people in it! No matter where you were, you would never guess there were 2000 passengers sailing with you - except in the shops near dinner time :-)
The food was excellent no matter where you chose to eat. We preferred the dining room because we enjoyed getting dressed up but if you didn't there was a casual dining area and there was always room service with the same dinner menu! Our waiter, William, was the best - he did beg for an excellent rating, but didn't need to.
We had a private balcony. There was plenty of closet space! I did think the shower was a bit too small - I don't like my skin to touch the curtain and it was! But overall I was satisfied with our accomodations and especially with our cabin steward!
The entertainment was great - we attended the beatles tribute and a couple of comedy shows. the quality of the shows were good. there was only one midnight comedian that left something to be desired.
We went to Labadee, St. thomas, San Juan and Coco Cay.
St. Thomas was our favorite. I did expect more shore excursions to be offered (other than at St. thomas). The solarium pool and hot tubs were the best! The health club manager was nearly the only person on our ship that did make us feel special!
Unfortunately, we only met one friendly couple. It might have
been that we were on our honeymoon but we did try a little - however we
didn't mind too much :-}
