Itinerary: Caribbean - Eastern
Our week was excellent. We picked a great itinerary for our first cruise - two days at sea with plenty to do,two private islands to relax and kick back ,and two ports to see the sites. Highly recommend the Grandeur to everyone !
All public areas were beautiful. We especially liked the Schooner Bar for their afternoon Margaritaville Happy Hour. Liked the casino for it's relaxed atmosphere, though it's still easy to lose your money !!
The food and the service in the dining room was outstanding ! We had a great dinner every single night. Room service for breakfast was a favorite for us - the food arrived piping hot and right on schedule each time.
Our cabin was plenty big for our needs. We were on deck 8 midship and it was very quiet all week. Service by our cabin attendant was excellent.
Cruise director and staff were all great - their enthusiasm in everything they led was infectious. Entertainment was top notch.
Onboard activities start at sunrise and last until almost sunrise the next day ! Lots to do ,though you're never pressured to do anything if you so choose - always a quiet place somewhere to get away from it all. Itinerary included two days at private islands and two ports (San Juan and St Thomas)
We met lots of people all week - everybody was having a great time. Young, old and everybody in between on the Grandeur our week. Became especially close friends with our tablemates.
