We had an awful experience with RCI on this cruise! When we boarded, our stateroom had a horrible, sour, sewage odor that rendered it uninhabitable. After several hours and multiple plumber visits, guest services claimed it was fixed. The next day, when we turned on the shower, dirty, black sewage water gushed out of the auxiliary drain on the toilet/sink side of the bath. It took them until after dinner again to repair and clean our room. RCI has refused to provide us with any partial refund to make up for these unacceptable conditions!!!
It's an older ship, but it has been remodeled and the public areas were generally in good condition.
The dinners were quite good. The rest of the food was fairly poor and unimaginative.
Cabins were small. Our children's cabin had no storage at all.
And of course, our cabin suffered from a disgusting sewage problem, as discussed above!
Entertainment was ok. Most of the cruise staff were friendly and entertaining.
I liked Cococay. Really nice beach with a great breeze! They could have done better than bad burgers and hotdogs, though! Kids liked the water slide. Nassau was quiet b/c of the X-mas holiday. We took an interesting Seguay "tour" (more of a ride, actually). Not a lot to do or see on Paradise Island unless you are staying there.
Had family and kids on board. Met some nice folks from the boat on the excursions.
