NOT a good trip. Rude staff, bad food & highly disorganized.
Very pretty but rust spots & worn carpet evident. The ship is old & shows the wear. Not a problem, just old.
The food was really not up to par. Six of us at the same table sent the steak back as too tough to cut, much less chew. The "Chicken Marsala" was a breaded chicken fillet with a dab of mushroom gravy. Soups were weak and difficult to identify as being what was advertised.
We had an "Oceanview" cabin on Deck 3. The smallest afloat. Only 137 sq. ft. Limited storage. Don't drop the soap in the shower, there's no room to bend over if you are over 5' 10". Some passengers spoke of actuall taking the shower hose outside of the shower & bathing in the bathroom. Of course this sent water flying everywhere, but at least they could turn around.
Very energeitc ships company but not up to other lines standards.
A very disorganized shore excursion staff & process. Tenders to Grand Cayman were handled on a first come first served basis which resulted in numerous passengers with morning excursions missing thier tours. Our Belize tour group did not leave the ship until nearly two hours after the scheduled tour start time thus leaving no time for any other on shore activities. The excursion desk was only open from 6:00 - 7:00 PM the last night of the cruise. This was during the main seating for dinner. So many passengers had discrepancies on their bill related to shore excursions that two of our dinner table mates missed dinner attempting to get with the excursion desk. No aplology from the staff. Ships uniformed staff was downright rude. Bartenders, dining room staff & room stewards were very good. Will NEVER go on this ship again.
Passengers of all ages. But mostly 35 - 65. Few kids but it was during school time.
