The cruise was spectacular!! I was so impressed and it was absolutely amazing. I would have never thought that so many things could be done on a cruise ship. Between the rock climbing wall, the ice skating rink, the amazing entertainment, and the 5-star dining, I was impressed!
The public areas were so comfortable. I never felt overcrowded and I certainly was pleased that there were not kids everywhere I turned. They were kept very busy with the kids programs. The pools were amazing and all of the various bars and lounges were very comfortable and great for when you just want to sit and look out.
The food was excellent!! If I could give it 6 stars, I would! Every night was something different and if I didn't like the food I was given, I simply asked for something else and I was given it immediately. The seafood was delicious and the desserts were to die for. It didn't matter where I went, whether it was the Windjammer or the Main Dining Room, the food was amazing!
The cabins was great. We had an inside cabin and the other part of our group had a balcony, both on the 10th deck. Very clean, and very nice stewards. Our room steward even left animals made from towels in our cabin. There was plenty of space and there was not one problem with the room at any point during the cruise.
The shows were awesome. My favorite was the ice show. There were so many different things to choose from for entertainment. There were live shows, ice shows, kareoke, an so much more. It was definitely worth 5 stars. Don't miss one night of entertainment..it was truly amazing.
The ports of call were great. We stopped in Labadee, Ocho Rios, George Town, and Cozumel. Every port had something different to offer and the excursions were awesome. A little bit on the high side as far as price, but it was well spent. I thoroughly enjoyed every port and the shopping was awesome too. I recommend the Western Caribbean cruise-the stops were just incredible!
The passengers, and crew for that matter, were extremely friendly. I never once met someone that I didn't like and I was always very comfortable around the other passengers. The crew was very helpful and attentive if there were any problems. It was truly a great experience. We're going on Grandeur of the Seas in a month and I hope that the experience will be just as wonderful as this. Certainly, Royal Caribbean knows what they're doing!
