This ship is simply awesome. The service and the food (no matter
where you ate) was excellent and beautifully prepared. The decor is
breathtaking. On a three day cruise we didn't have nearly enough time to
take in all the activities and entertainments.
The public areas were very comfortable, there were so many
different areas that none of them were crowded. I especially liked the
solarium.
There was a promenade, some people used it for jogging. The pools were very
nice and it being salt water very easy swimming. I didn't go into the
casino.
The food was excellent and beautifully prepared no matter
if you went to the buffet or one of the dining rooms. The service was
outstanding. If your dining room waiter was working in the buffet when you
went there for lunch he waited on you just as if it were a formal dinner!!
And the employees we had contact with were all so friendly and helpful.
Yes the cabin had lots of storage space and was well designed. My
husband could not fit into the shower very comfortably though. This ship
was very quiet, inside and outside the cabins.
We went to the show in the Aurora Theater. The entertainers
were very professional and the costumes were beautiful. We did not care for
the entertainment in the
Colony Club.
There were so many things to do on board and since we only had
three days we stayed on the ship most of the time. We used the pool and the
steam rooms everyday, ate a lot, watched the entertainment, played miniature
golf, checked out the books in the library and watched the scenery from the
lovely glassed in decks. It took us most of one afternoon just to explore
the ship.
We had such a short trip that we didn't get to know anyone much,
although the people we visited with at the pool and the theater were
friendly. Also we were traveling with our daughter and son-in-law.
