Date of Trip: November 30, 2003
Itinerary: Bahamas
The ship was older and larger than we like which makes for too many people. It was sometime hard to find chairs around the pool. Bar attendants were constantly pushing their drinks and quite annoying...you would think they sold on commission. We were there for rest and relaxation...not to be annoyed. Would not recommend this cruise!
We could not take our food pool side which we have enjoyed on previous cruises. Not enough room for tables. The casino was large enough...as well as the 2 pools.
Ate on deck for breakfast and lunch and food was mediocre. Did not have trays for carrying your food to tables...plates were plastic. No personal service with greeter at front of line. Food line was not laid out correctly...beverage was served at front of line and people were continuously breaking in front of you to get tea/water. Dinner was a 2 on a scale up to 5. You could recognize the dinner leftovers on the lunch line the next day...
Cabins were extremely small with 2 twin beds. We didn't carry lots of clothes as the cruise was only 5 days so the closet room was suitable. I seriously doubt that a full size person could fit into the bathroom. Our room was at the front of the ship and extremely quiet. Our room attendant was very nice. Often the vacuum and cleaning supplies were left in the hall...not pleasant to look at....
We attended the shows each night after dinner and they were fun.
The only stop was Coco Cay but due to weather, we were unable to stop. We spent 2 days sitting in port in Nassau and the last day floating around on our way back to Port Canaveral
Didn't have much in common with other passengers. I am not a Nascar fan!
You get what you pay for and I strongly suggest you pay a little more and go on a high quality ship.....
