It was the most horrible cruise I have EVER been on! I went with my husband for our anniversary and another couple joined is as well. The only thing that was HALF way descent was the casino and it was not all that. I stayed in the admiral suite and it smelled HORRIBLE. The boat rocked back and forth so bad the closet doors kept opening and slamming shut. The shower was so small I could not close the shower curtain or it would stick to you. It was nothing like it said in the brochures. Even the cruise director was making fun of the ship. The rest of the ship smelled horrible as well. If you did not get sick from the rocking of the ship you would from the smell. The food was not great. I ordered New york strip steak on the first night and it came as a pork chop. I would not recommend any one to waste their money on this ship. Book Carnival! I have been on 2 of their ships and they are excellent. I am booked for another cruise with Carnival in December.
All the public areas stunk really bad. The decor in the areas were awful. It sure looked it's age... 50 years old.
The servers were nice in the dining room, I will give them that. But the food was awful.
The cabin was an ok size but the shower was very tiny. A small person could not fit in the shower, so a full size person is out of the question. The beds and pillows were like boards. Another person that went on the cruise as well is still having very bad neck pain 2 days later from sleeping on the pull out couch.
The shows were awful. There were awful singers as well as performances.
Not nearly enough activities on the ship. It was a very boring 3 days I could not wait to get home. What a Anniversary!!!
Mostly elderly.
