Itinerary: Bahamas
The overall cruise was o.k. This was our second cruise and we first cruised on Carnival-Fascination. We were very disappointed in the appearance, food and service aboard the Imperial Majesty; there was no comparison to Carnival. The ship is a lot older; and it shows. My husband said that he was waiting for Ashton Kutcher (sp?) to come out from behind a door and say that we had been punked:) We only were in the Bahamas from 8 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., so there wasn't a lot of time to see everything. If you have been on a cruise before, I would not recommend this ship. For a first timer, I guess it's o.k., since there is really no expectations. Some people actually enjoyed themselves; it just wasn't for us and we wouldn't go again!
There was only one large pool and two small jacuzzi tubs. The deck where the pool was located was crowded and cluttered.
The buffet was alright. I didn't like the fact that the servers had to give us our food instead of us getting it ourselves; after all, it was a buffet. The evening dining located inside of the formal dining room was better though.
My closet at home was larger the our cabin:( There was very little space to move around.
The entertainers were average, nothing exciting. The club was fun though; we had a good time there.
There were not a lot of activities; mostly Bingo.
We did meet some very nice people aboard the ship. Most of them agreed with us about the ship.
