The Mutiny & Mayhem cruise is a charter cruise of the Regal Empress. It is an all gay all male cruise featuring xxx rated enterinment with drag shows, xxx movie stars shooting videos on board, naughty pool games, all night disco on the pool deck, x-rated contests etc. or in other words "Sex Sells"
The Regal Empress is still, after 50 years old, going strong and is VERY well mantained. No major changes have been made since the EXCELENT write up was done on Maritime Matters which I presume most readers of this board are fimalliar with. Go there for more on the history of this great old ship.
Food was very good, and plenty of it. At least 4 entrees for dinner and lunch. Service was very good, and friendly. This is a budjet cruise line so don't look for duck under glass or other exotic dishes. But what they had was good. Only one dining room backed up by an excelent buffet on the prom deck. Rooms were spotless with execleent room stewards.
I was in cabin M-7 one of the cheapest cabins on the ship. it was an upper/lower with the upper folding up to the wall during the day. I travelled solo so the upper bunk was never in the way. There was plenty of closet and drawer space for a 2 week cruise.(The M&M cruise was 3 days). I am 6'0" and had no problem getting into the shower. The room was forward and there was no noise at all.
This cruise was a total ship charter by a gay travel agency in Tampa F. Byt chartering the whole ship the T/A. could control the passenger manifest (NO children, Gay male orinited etc) and the entermainent. The regular enteriners just "rode this one out" and the T/A. suppolied all the enterinment. One exception one evening the ships dance troupe did a show. I did not see it. We had Jerry Halliday and his "Puppets From Hell", Tyler the singing, stripping cowboy, Keith Moore 8 members of "Chelsa guys" asd several from Showguys.com also 2 D.J.s were aboard to keep the music going all day and night.
The cruise was a 3 day Tampa - Key West - Tampa. First evening was dancing under the stars with dj S Sscotty and Walter Winston. Also the "Puppets From Hell"show was the first night. At midnight there was a show by Brandon Williams (One of the porno stars at 3.00 A.M. (not a typo, you know that you are on a gay cruise when you look at the daily schedule and see an event take place at 3.00 A.M. The next morning prior to arrival in Key West there was Bingo with the Porn stars.(Use your imiganation on all theese actitives).
Then ew got ready to go ashore in Key West. We tied up at 3.30 P.M. and sailed at 5.00 A.M. the next morning.
At 9.30 A.M. we had Bloody Mary Bingo (All winners got a free bloody mary as well as the cash prize) at 11.00 A.M. the pool games begun. Lets just say that theese are NOT the same pool games you see on a Carnival cruise. There was the sexy butt contest, smoothest body contest and team scavenger hunt. NAKED Twister All playwer were covered with baby oil to make it more intersting. And one other contest that cant be mentioned here. That evening there was a caberet show (drag show). Then at 10.00 P.M. there was the grand finale a x rated show on the pool deck with 7 porn stars and audence particapiton encourges at the end of the show. At midnight there was the first anual Pirate's ball on the high seas this lasted to dawn. The ship tied up in tampa at 8.00 A.M. and it was all over.
On this particular cruise, gay males.
