This cruise is excellent for the price, would do it again and bring some friends and family with me so they too can experience the fine dinning and service we received while onboard.
The ship is not short of lounges and bars. I found the Mermaid Lounge to be very nice and the commodore piano bar just through the doors to be very romantic. The entertainment on the deck at night can be improved with a live band since the disco provides a d j with recorded music.
The dinning room, which there is only one to choose, was excellent. we had wonderful service and the food was excellent. The buffet that was offered on the deck was good but the service there was not as good as in the dinning room and I really didn't care to eat there since I had the dinning room option. I feel the ship should offer hamburgers, hot dogs and pizza 24 hours a day. Since the pizza was very good and was only offered when we first boarded the ship. The room service menu should have more options since it is the only 24 hour option. It only offered sandwiches and salad.
Our cabin was a outside cabin on the main deck. It was comfortable enough for my guest and myself. It had enough drawers and closet space for a 7 day cruise but then I don't pack that much when I travel. The tv could have more channel options but then I don't watch that much tv at home so I did not mind too much. I'm a large man (260 lbs) and the bathroom was comfortable for me. Would prefer shower doors rather than a curtain but besides that it was just fine.
We were on a 2 night cruise and I did attend the evening show on both nights. I have been on other cruises and don't really care for the entertainment that is offered unless it's a talent show put on by the guest of the ship. This cruise did not offer this type of show. the evening show was a vegas type show which the entertainers were good and if you go for that type of show you will enjoy it. I would of preferred a comedy show since the talent show was not offered.
since it was only a 2 night cruise we only stopped in nassau bahamas on the second day. I have been to nassau 4 times before and have never found it to be all that interesting. The best time I spent in nassau was when I stayed at the atlantis resort which we visited on this trip but were not able to do much there since we were not guest. The ship does offer lunch in the dinning room while at port which we did take advantage of and was very good. the key lime pie that afternoon was one of the best i've had in a long time. I do feel the ship should offer something to do onboard if you don't care to be on the island which I don't since I don't care for water sports or shopping. there is a pool and two jacuzzis which were very clean and only the kids were using since the weather was a bit cold. The ship does offer a health club, spa, child care and child programs but we did not use since we were not traveling with kids or have any use of a health club or spa while on a cruise.
The other passengers though I'm sure are wonderful people and were fine to be aboard the ship with, I can't say I would invite them over for dinner since I am not he type to invite anyone over for dinner.
