This was by far the best vacation and cruise I have ever been on. I was a "repeat" traveler and was treated like a queen...free upgrade, invitation to special parties, gift from the cruise line, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely sail aboard the Stella Solaris again in the future.
My favorite place on board was was the Disco. I did not have a chance to go in the pool, but that was OK. I did go into the "Casino" every night before dinner. I hesitate to call it a casino as it was more of a game room.
The food was great and the service was excellent!!!!
With the free upgrade we had a room the had a port hole as well as a bathtub!!! There was plenty of closet and drawer space for two single "twenty-something" women! The room was very quiet.
I thought the entertainment was sufficient for a cruise. I
preferred the Disco over the "shows" anyhow.
I did not participate in many activities on board. I was off on shore excursions most of the time. It was the type of cruise where you would visit 1 or 2 ports every day.
I would venture to say that the majority of the passengers were 40 and over. There were just a few "young" women and no young men except for the crew (which was just fine). Our dining partners were retirees. We actually had a wonderful time with them--we mix well with anyone!
