Itinerary: Mediterranean
Cruised the Greek isles for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxation and beautiful ports. The cruise was planned at the end of 14 days of touring Italy and Greece.
The ship even though it is now 30 years old was well kept, easy the find your way around. We found there was plenty of space for everyone on the decks. We found the Siren Lounge to be a great place to watch the entertainment. The casino is small but it is laid out nicely so it does not seem crowded. We also did very well here.
The food was excellent, the service superior the ship was just the right size for our needs. The buffet is very popular. You need to get there early for lunch or the wait in line can be long.
Our cabin was an outside cabin with an upper and lower berth. My wife assigned me the upper and my only complaint was that I was rolled around pretty good rough sea night. I would opt for a cabin upgrade next time.
The entertainment is very professional and easy to watch.
We saw Myknos, Rhodes, Crete, Patmos, Santorini and Kussadasi, Turkey. There was something interesting in each port. I highly recommend the optional tours the ship offers.
We met people from all over the world. A number of seasoned travellers were on our cruise; South Africans traveling around the world, Australians, French Canadians, people of all ages.
