For those who remember the great Royal Cruise line, this is a step back in time. Friendly staff, Greek officers, Greek dining room, etc.
We were pleased with the size of the ship, it's entertainment facilities, dance floors, shops. All in all a great choice for those looking for a small, intimate ship. Smooth sailing ship. Limited walk around deck due to 27 knot cruising speed.
Traditional dining, good food, small enough to get to know your compatriots. Midnight buffets are a thing of the past.
Very comfortable cabin arrangement. Showers larger than those on the Island Princess. More than enough closet space. Stewards excellent.
Musicians were great, shows smaller than the larger ships but the performers were all well trained, many from the eastern bloc countries.
We were on a 17 day south american cruise from Ft. Lauderdale to Manaus, Brazil and returning to Houston
Mostly east coast passengers, with Canadians and a few west coasters like us. We were very impressed with the ship and were very disappointed when they had to be tied up. Hope to sail aboard her again. Transatlantic westbound??
