Itinerary: Mediterranean

Overview
This was one of the most amazing cruises i've ever been on. It is so sad that renaissance cruise lines ceased operations. We have had a difficult time finding a comparable cruise line on which to travel. we've cruised 3 times on renaissance and miss it terribly..what a loss!!!!! Older people or honeymooners would definitely want to cruise on this ship!

Public Areas
The public areas were lovely...the library was wonderful as were the lounges...the pool area was perfect as was the outside dining area...the ship on the whole was wonderful...

Food and Service
The food service was very good...not the best i've had, but good. the Italian dining room was my favorite...the food was best there...service was wonderful in all the dining rooms...the crew was fun and very capable...

Cabins
We always had an inside cabin...it was great...beautiful... roomy with three of us rooming together (four of us on one occasion)...plenty of space for all of us to have a place for everything...closet space and drawer space were ample...showers were larger than those on norwegian, dolphin, carnival,,,our cabin was quite comfortable and not noisy at all (except for our noise!!!)

Entertainment
We did go to all the shows...the cruise staff was good; the entertainment was ok for such a small ship and small number of entertainers...it was fun!!!!

Activities
while on board, more musical entertainment and games would have been nice as they were on this 1st cruise on renaissance...however, the quiet was nice and relaxing especially since most of the guests were older...we stopped at 5 ports...Athens, Santorini, Rhodes, Kusadasi, Mount Athos, Dardenelles, Istanbul

Who Goes
Great fun and most interesting...yes, for sure.
