Overview
EXCELLENT !!! cruised for 2 weeks from Phuket Thailand to Singapore via Malacca, Port Klang for KL, Langkawi, Penang and Singapore. Well appointed, comfortable, wonderful service, great food, friendly staff and crew. We would go again.

Public Areas
Plenty of space, lots of tables and chairs to sit informally on deck or in the bars - waitress service. Galaxy of Stars entertainment area good - but the tables and chairs are fixed to the floor which makes maneuvering around fun... watching people trying to move them ! Swimming pool and Jacuzzis big enough to be good.

Food and Service
Ocean Palace ( restaurant) "Top Notch" - attentive service and good portions. We were there for Christmas and the buffet excelled itself ! the formal dinners are very nice ( thursday / Saturday ) but we enjoyed the Ocean Palace for lunch best and on board buffet in the Mariners Buffet for evenings.. Monday night is asian night - loved the Laksa soup.

Cabins
Very well appointed- lots of storage space..bathroom and toilet..flowers in room every night and turn down bed with chocolates. Ice in bucket every afternoon. Lots of space for 2 per cabin. We had a cabin on deck 3 inside for 2 weeks and it was very comfortable. Some engine noise - we missed it on returning home !

Entertainment
Not really into the entertainment - but it was good and well done. The staff review night produced acts better than the cabaret staff ! Cruise entertainer "Colin" very funny ! Good if you like that sort of thing - it is there if you want it.

Activities
Shore excursions well worth it in Penang ( temples and gardens ) and KL as entrance to tower is included but not worth it in Phuket - better getting a taxi to where you want to go. Port Klang is stopped at about 3 times a week and is BORING and not really worth getting off the ship for. Singapore is great - again taxi or metro is easier. Langkawi trip is really worth it though ( c. 55S$) wonderful scenery and a great lunch. Penang is easy to do on your own too - Batu Feringhi beach is BEAUTIFUL and had good shopping - we found it cheaper than Patong ! ( but we haggled well !)

Who Goes
Very international - lots of Australian, British, Asian. A nice mix of interesting people. As people join the ship in Phuket, KL and Singapore it is a constant mixture of new and existing passengers. We met some really nice people !
