Itinerary: Orient
The staff were very friendly, well trained and genuinely eager to
please. The crew were very professional which gave passengers a feeling of
safety and security.
The public areas were well appointed, clean and everything you
would expect.
Food was very varied and of excellent quality. Both dining
areas were good. The service in the restaurant was prompt and friendly.
We had an inside cabin on the Phuket to Singapore leg of the
journey. This was well appointed for an inside cabin but anyone who suffers
from claustrophobia would miss the natural daylight. Considering how little
time is actually spent in the cabin this is not a problem. The outside cabin
which we had on the return leg was very good.
Entertainment on board was to a reasonable international
standard. It was varied and we felt that there was something for everyone.
Plenty of activities on board from the show during the day on
the upper sun deck to the library and chess room for a little peace and
quiet. In the afternoon there was a cinema showing children's films. There is
an amusement area with electronic games for the older children
The fellow passengers were mostly Australian with a few British
and Japanese.
