Itinerary: Orient
My wife and I celebrated our Silver Wedding aboard Superstar
Gemini (our second trip aboard in two years). We were given a wonderful day
on our anniversary, dining at the Captains table in the evening. A marvellous
ship and an equally marvellous crew.
Everything on board was fine,a friendly comfortable ship with
a great bunch of mainly Australian,American and Malaysian passengers.
Both the main dining room and the self service facility were
excellent. We dined in the main dining room in the evening but divided our
lunches between both. The food was magnificent
The cabins, like the rest of the ship, were
excellent, comfortable, light and spacious with sufficient closet and shower
space.
Yes and the word that again springs easily to mind is
excellent for both staff and entertainers.
Pool, yes, very good.Time on board, rested and enjoyed the peace
and tranquility.Health club, yes, appeared to be well equipped and
staffed, but only looked, did not use.Very few, if any children on board so
could not say what would have been available.
Mainly middle class people and mainly non English which, being
English ourselves, pleased us very much.Yes we would certainly invite those
people that we met, home to dinner the problem would be the distance that
they would have to travel.
