Itinerary: Orient
Started at Singapore, then Malaysia and Thailand. Super service,
great ship, great destinations. Beautiful weather, smooth seas, hot,
sometimes humid, a little rain. Highly recommend cruise. Different port
each day. Crew superb. Ship great. Would go again any time.
All public areas good. Front of ship, great for sitting and
watching the sea. Casino small, Lots of room around pool and spas. Lounge
perhaps not big enough and hard to see stage if caught behind pillars.
Buffet great, different themes. Other restaurant posh (4 star). 2 formal dinners in restaurant. BBQ on deck good.
Deluxe Ocean view cabin sufficient for needs. 2 portholes.
Shower big enough for 1 only (not large person though).Generally quiet.
Shows good particularly crew some of them are very talented, singing, dancing etc. Crew show was better then one of the booked acts. Cruise director was a magician, looked like Mr. Bean, quite a drag.
Stopped at K.Lumpar (hot humid), Pangkor Island (free but not
exciting). Langkowi Island (good) Phuket (noisy, dirty, harassed by shop
keepers at Patong beach). Penang ( Lovely) Melacca (very very nice. Did
organised tours in each port, little expensive, but saved hassling with taxi
drivers etc.
Most passengers, English, Australian, New Zealanders. Some
European and Asian. No real idiots. Most friendly and good fun.
