Fantastic cruise experience - especially for first timers. ideal for those looking for a fun and lively cruise experience in truly luxurious surroundings. Children well catered for with plenty of facilities and entertainments.
Truly an amazing ship, with probably the friendliest service crew in the world!!
The ship has a complete walk around promenade on deck 7, bear in mind though that the bow and stern sections are covered. Public rooms are furnished to the very highest standards. There is a room to suit your mood be it looking for action or quiet reflection. Pools fantastic, 1 for adults and 1 for children only - great idea!! plenty of sunbathing space with some areas offering a good deal of privacy.
On Superstar Leo you have several dining options, some included in the cruise fare while others charge a modest supplement. The main restaurant 'Windows' is breathtaking. Food and service first class, unobtrusive and unhurried. All tastes catered for from exotic asian food to burger and chips by the pool.
Balcony cabins well worth the extra cost. Standard cabins are of a good size, well fitted and very quiet. Bathrooms a good size with a full size shower. Some toiletries provided. The executive suites on Superstar Leo are just so fantastic they defy simple description, enormous and beautifully fitted out with everything the most discerning cruiser could ever wish for.
The main show lounge is excellent with good sight lines and acoustics. Main shows where well done. Other entertainment include disco/nightclub and a fabulous main lounge 'Galaxy of the Stars' situated above the bridge offering panoramic views. Live bands and dancing every night. Good cinema.
The itineraries of Leo are too short to enjoy the ship AND get off in ports of call, my advice is stay on the ship!!
Health club facilities are the best I've seen on any ship or land based club for that matter. The childcare facilities are excellent with plenty of kids only space and round the clock activities.
Passengers mostly Asian and Australian. A fascinating mix of cultures with no hint of any racial resentment. We are still friendly with several passengers we met on board and have visited one since. Not a ship for those who like to go abroad but still be surrounded by their own countrymen. Crew mostly Asian, we also keep in touch with some of them!!
