This ship was aimed more at the asian market but some western food could be found. Very spacious and very friendly staff. A well designed ship which catered to the needs and interests of most.
Everything was quite new and elegant when= we went on this ship. The public areas are large and the casino is well stocked. The pool is roman style and surrounded by four spas - beautiful setting. The walk around the promenade is delightful. All in all quite a spacious ship.
Keep away from the raffles buffet - very pushy and shovy. Not for the westerner. The main dining room was huge with beautiful decor, the food was quite good and the service was excellent. The theme cafe's scattered around the ship were tasty but the barbecue on deck is a must.
The balcony cabin was very acceptable. Well thought out and quite roomy. The en suite was small but had the bonus of a separate toilet. Plenty of closet space and the= noise levels were very low. Decor was pleasing on the eye.
Entertainment was excellent, very bright and las vegas style. Catered for all ages too.
The childrens area at the rear of the ship is simply the best and the childcare is top quality. The health club is also very well stocked and of top quality and offers a great view whilst exercising. Phuket was worth a visit for the= food and shopping.
Fellow passengers were mainly Aasian and quite pushy and seemed to stare a lot at the few westerners on board. Our travel agent has since informed us that the Leo is aimed at the asian market whereas the Gemini and Virgo are aimed at the Western market. The captain "Magnus Gottberg" was very friendly and excellent with children.
