Itinerary: Mediterranean

Overview
I would highly recommend the Thomson Spirit for anyone from single st couples to family's, there is something for everyone to do. During the day the entertainers do quizzes and games on deck but there are a number of things going on in one of the 4 bars/lounges. For the children there are teens and kids clubs during the day and bands play frequently round the ship. It is brilliant for a week holiday maybe even two! The crew are so helpful and there is such a friendly atmosphere. because it is a smaller ship than some you'll always see someone you know.

Public Areas
With the 4 bars there is also a cinema, casino, 2 story show lounge 2 pools, 3 restaurants, teen&kids club, 4 lounging decks, a sports court and a walk-around promenade deck. Everything is great there is always something to do especially at night. In the broadway Show Lounge there are 2 shows a night and a talent show a week then in high Spirits Lounge there is cabaret each week with quizzes and game shows every night then a disco that goes on until early in the morning. Almost everywhere is friendly to well behaved children which is always a good thing.

Food and Service
The food is amazing there is a self-service buffet that is open 24 hours a day. A waiter service restaurant and a posh a la carte restaurant for special occassions (cost #15 extra) the service is impeccable there are 2 waiters to every table but you end up getting 30 coming round to say hi anyway. they are so friendly especially to younger children, all the crew do the best to make each passenger feel welcome. (For better treatment tell them Lynda sent you)!

Cabins
The cabins are really spacious but quaint at the same time Linda Barker actually designed them so you know they're going to be stylish. you can pre-book your cabin. you know to get an outside one without obstruction from lifeboats. There is plenty of storage space, a hair dryer en suite, TV with films throughout the day and sockets for razors etc. It is great and the cleanliness is exceptional, nothing is too much for your cabin steward.

Entertainment
The shows, on word WOW! they show team are so professional and the quality of each show is flawless, they even o a backstage tour. The entertainment team are very friendly, helpful and funny, during the deck parties and game shows all they want is for the passengers to be having as much fun as thy possibly can, whatever it takes! (tip, pay them a compliment if you want a hug/ kiss on the cheek at the end of your holiday. I did) They remember you and you'll remember them and the activities for years!

Activities
There are always excursions for every place you go minimum excursion number is 2. Everything you'd expect from one of the larger ships including itinerary but for a smaller price. What more could you want? Talking about price it has gone up to about #90 per person which couldd be good or bad depending on what happens, there is an excursion guide for information so you can decide for yourself. I didn't do any excursions but thats only because i like wondering around at my own pace.

Who Goes
The passengers are fantastic everyone you met you met at least once more during your holiday. A small ship is better for meeting people because there are more chances you'll see them again. There is something to do for everyone and you know that you'd meet someone who has the same thing in common as you which is always a positive thing. One things for sure you'd definitely want to stay in touch with the people you meet after your cruise, I did!
